The Prophecy Of The Man Of Sin, The Anti-Christ

The Bible prophesies of a man of sin that will stand up as a World leader in the end times. In fact we know that Satan reads the Bible but the Lord said He will come as a thief in the night. It is more than likely that Satan has had a man ready to step up as this Anti-Christ ever since Jesus Christ ascended back to Heaven. In the Book Of Revelation we first see this man of sin as the Beast.

Rev 13:1  And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw [a beast rise up out of the sea], having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The term “sea” means here from the population of the world.

1Jn 2:18  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The Apostle John wrote what we should already know. An Anti-Christ will come but there are many that are on this Earth now.

Let’s see what else the Bible says about this evil man.

1.) The Anti-Christ will be an “intellectual” genius.

Dan 8:23  And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, [a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up].
Dan 8:24  And [his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power]: and [he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people].
Dan 8:25  And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and [by peace shall destroy many]: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

I didn’t include it but look at verse 27:

Dan 8:27  And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

We can see that Daniel who saw this vision was very sick for certain days. We know that Daniel had been in the Lion’s den and had witnessed some really awful things. This vision would have to be pretty vile to make Daniel sick. God does not waste words in things that He tells us.

2.) The Anti-Christ will be an “oratorical” genius.

Dan 11:36  And the king shall do according to his will; and [he shall exalt himself], and magnify himself above every god, and [shall speak marvellous things] against the God of gods, and [shall prosper] till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

3.) The Anti-Christ will be a “political” genius.

Dan 7:24  And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and [another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings].
Dan 7:25  And [he shall speak great words] against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and [think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time].

Rev 17:10  And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Rev 17:11  And [the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth], and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Rev 17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; [but receive power as kings one hour with the beast].
Rev 17:13  [These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast].
Rev 17:14  These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 

4.) The Anti-Christ will be a “monetary” genius.

Dan 11:41  He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
Dan 11:42  He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
Dan 11:43  [But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things] of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
Dan 11:44  But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

5.) The Anti-Christ will be a genius of “False Worship”.

Rev 13:4  And [they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast]: and [they worshipped the beast], saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Rev 13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Rev 13:6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8  And [all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him], whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Notice the ones not worshipping him. Those that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

6.) The Anti-Christ will be a “military” genius.

Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

We cannot get confused here. This rider was given a crown. NO ONE, would give Jesus Christ a crown, he would already have it. That bow means he comes to kill and rule.

7.) The Anti-Christ will briefly rule the World.

Rev 13:4  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Rev 13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Rev 13:6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and [power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations].
Rev 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 13:9  If any man have an ear, let him hear.

8.) The Anti-Christ is a “Vile Person”.

Dan 11:21  [And in his estate shall stand up a vile person], to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

9.) The Anti-Christ may be “homosexual”.

Dan 11:37  Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, [nor the desire of women], nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

10.) The Anti-Christ could be from a small Middle East country.

Dan 11:23  And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: [for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people].

11.) The Anti-Christ will come from a “Religious” family but it does not say “Christian”.

Dan 11:37  [Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers], nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

12.) The Anti-Christ will be filled with “pride”.

Dan 11:37  Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: [for he shall magnify himself above all].

13.) The Anti-Christ will be “demoniacally”charged.

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and [that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition];
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, [shewing himself that he is God].
2Th 2:5  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8  And [then shall that Wicked be revealed], whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9  Even him, [whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders],

14.) The Anti-Christ is a master of “deceit”.

2Th 2:10  And [with all deceivableness] of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

15.) The Anti-Christ will thrive for 3 and 1/2 years.

Rev 13:5  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; [and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months].

16.) The Anti-Christ will profane the “Rebuilt Temple”.

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, [stand in the holy place], (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Dan 9:24  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Dan 9:25  Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Dan 9:26  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week [he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate].

Dan 12:10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Dan 12:11  [And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up], there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Note: Matthew 24:22 says no flesh saved. This is after the Rapture of the Church. If you wait till this time you will have waited to long!

17.) The Anti-Christ will start the worst war that has ever been recorded!

Rev 16:16  And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

18.) The Anti-Christ will provoke the “Wrath of God”.

Rev 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Rev 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and [he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God].

19.) The Anti-Christ will try one more time to attack Jesus.

Rev 19:19  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together [to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army].

20.) The Anti-Christ will be the first one that is THROWN into the Lake Of Fire.

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

You can miss all of this if you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your “Savour” during the Church Age before the Rapture.
