THE TERRORS OF THE TRIBULATION

OUR MAIN TEXT FOR TODAY: Daniel 11:36-12:3, 10-13

We have been learning what will happen to the children of Israel after the Rapture of the Church.

Deu 32:21 says  They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

That “foolish nation” is the Church and when the Rapture happens, I believe Israel will see the truth of God’s Word. They will then turn to the Lord and so we have these words of Moses.

MOSES SAID TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL THESE WORDS:

Deu 4:26  I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
Deu 4:27  And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
Deu 4:28  And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
Deu 4:29  But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Deu 4:30  [When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, [even in the latter days], if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
Deu 4:31  (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

WE HAVE ALSO BEEN LEARNING ABOUT THE THINGS OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST. THESE THINGS HAPPEN AFTER THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH:

Deu 30:3  That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and [will return] and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

*****That word terror we see so much of today (as terrorist):

The dictionary says: Extreme fear; violent dread; fright; fear that agitate the body and mind.
We hear that word “Terrorist” almost everyday. A terrorist is someone that causes these things to happen.

I SUBMIT TO YOU THAT THE ANTI-CHRIST IS THE WORST TERRORIST OF THEM ALL!

Eze 28:19  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: [thou shalt be a terror], and never shalt thou be any more.

2Th 2:3 SAYS  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, [and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition];

Son of perdition meaning: He will suffer Entire loss or ruin; utter destruction, The utter loss of the soul or of final happiness in a future state; future misery or eternal death.

The impenitent(one who will not repent) sinner is condemned to final perdition.

We have been talking about that missing week from the book of Daniel. That seven year tribulation period that the children of Israel will go through. There will also be many Gentiles but [all those] that have rejected Christ will not survive these seven years.

2Th 2:10 says  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness (in them that perish); [because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved].
2Th 2:11  [And for this cause] God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  [That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness].

*****WHEN WE REJECT THE TRUTH, WE SEAL OUR OWN PERDITION!

Now there will probably be some that did not get a chance to hear the word of God and reject the tug of the Holy Ghost.

Eze 47:22 says  And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, [and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you]: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

The strangers of the Bible are those that are not of the children of Israel!

WILL SOME OF THESE BE SAVED? I BELIEVE THEY WILL.

Rev 7:14 SAYS  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, [These are they which came out of great tribulation], and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

*****WE WILL SEE THAT THE GREAT TRIBULATION IS THE LAST HALF OF THOSE TRIBULATION YEARS. THESE PEOPLE WILL SEE THE WORST OF THE WORST OF THOSE SEVEN YEARS AND MOST WILL DIE A TRAGIC DEATH BEFORE GETTING TO HEAVEN.

Rev 13:16 SAYS  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17  [And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name].

They would not be able to get food or meet their minimum needs to survive!

TO REJECT THIS MARK WOULD MEAN INSTANT DEATH!

Rev 6:9 says  And when he had opened the fifth seal, [I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God], and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, [dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth]?

The last resurrection of Saints at the end of the tribulation period:

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: [and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years].

NOW WE MUST KEEP IN MIND THAT AS A TEACHER I CANNOT INTERPRET THE SCRIPTURE BUT WE MUST ACCEPT GOD’S WORD AS HE INTENDED IT AND WROTE IT FOR US AND WE MUST TRY TO MAKE SENSE OF THE WORD:

2Pe 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

BUT WE MUST STUDY:

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

OUR TEXT FOR TODAY:

Dan 11:36  [And the king shall do according to his will]; and [he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god], and [shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods], and [shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished]: for that that is determined shall be done.
Dan 11:37  [Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers], [nor the desire of women], [nor regard any god]: for [he shall magnify himself above all].
Dan 11:38  [But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces]: and [a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things].
Dan 11:39  [Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.]

*****IF WE GET WHAT IS TAUGHT IN DANIEL, EZEKIEL, ZECHARIAH AND WHAT THE OTHER PROPHETS ARE SAYING WE WILL BETTER UNDERSTAND WHAT JESUS SAID IN THE GOSPELS ABOUT THE END TIMES AND ALSO UNDERSTAND THE BOOK OF REVELATION.

*****1.) WHO IS THIS KING?

Dan 11:3 SAYS  And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

*****This is a man, but a ruler(king), BUT he is a sovereign ruler and makes his own rules according to his own thoughts.

Dan 11:16 says  But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and [none shall stand before him]: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

He will seek no one’s council!

*****He shall exalt himself:

Dan 7:25 says  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until [a time and times and the dividing of time].

3 and 1/2 years.

2Th 2:4 says  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Rev 13:5 says  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

YOU SEE GOD KNOWS WHO IS BEHIND THIS MAN OF SIN!

Isa 14:12 SAYS  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13  [For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High].
Isa 14:15  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

*****He shall magnify himself above every god: (We know that there is only one Living God but all other religions have what they call a god little g-o-d). Some say Allah or use other terms.

Rev 13:6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, [and them that dwell in heaven].

(The Saints, The Angels, The Lord God Himself.)

To describe what this means:

Deu 10:17 says  [For the LORD your God is God of gods], and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

HE WILL EXALT HIMSELF ABOVE GOD!

Daniel verse 35 says [to the time of the end].
Daniel verse 40 says [at the time of the end].

*****THIS IS NOT SOME MAN THAT HAS ALREADY RULED ON THIS EARTH THOUGH HE MAY BE ALIVE TODAY. ALL THOSE GREEK GENERALS AND ROMAN RULERS WORSHIPPED THEIR OWN gODS AND TRIED TO MAKE EVERY ONE ELSE DO SO. INCLUDING NEBUCHADNEZZAR.(remember the golden image). IN FACT IF SATAN DOES NOT KNOW WHEN THE END WILL BE, “HE HAS PROBABLY HAD SOMEONE PREPARED IN EVERY LIFETIME SINCE JESUS WENT BACK TO HEAVEN”.

Dan 10:14 SAYS  [Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days].
Dan 10:15  And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
Dan 10:16  And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision [my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength].

*****THIS TRIBULATION PERIOD WILL BE SO BAD, THAT THE VISION OF IT MADE DANIEL SICK AND WE KNOW SOME THE THINGS DANIEL HAD ALREADY WITNESSED. (the lions den, the fiery furnace of his three friends, the brutal murder of war.)

*****(shall speak against the God of gods):

Let’s go back to the Garden of Eden for a moment:

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

*****WHAT WE SEE IS SATAN CONVINCING EVE THAT GOD IS A LIAR.
*****WE SEE THAT SATAN IS CONVINCING EVE THAT MANKIND, (man or woman) CAN BECOME gODS THEM SELVES.
*****WE SEE THAT SATAN IS TELLING EVE THAT MAYBE GOD IS NOT IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING, MAYBE HE IS NOT THE SOVEREIGN GOD HE CLAIMS TO BE.

*********THESE ARE SOME OF THE SAME THINGS THIS ANTICHRIST WILL BE SAYING AS HE BLASPHEMES OUR LORD.

*****(He shall prosper until the [indignation] be accomplished).

Dan 8:12 says  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and [it practiced, and prospered].

Isa 10:25 says  For [yet a very little while], and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.

Dan 9:27 says  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week   [he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate].

Indignation means: Anger or extreme anger, mingled with contempt, disgust or abhorrence. This is absolute hate of God and “it will include God’s people”.

Dan 7:25  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand [until a time and times and the dividing of time].

This will probably be the first three and one half years of the tribulation period. These next two scriptures refer to the last three and one half years.

Dan 12:7 says  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever [that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished].

Rev 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

*****IF WE GO BACK TO ONE OF THE SERMONS OF JESUS WHEN HE FIRST BEGAN HIS MINISTRY WE WILL SEE:

Luk 4:17 SAYS  And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
Luk 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luk 4:20  And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Luk 4:21  And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

NOW IF WE GO BACK TO THAT SCRIPTURE IN THE BOOK OF ISAIAH WE CAN SEE:

Isa 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, [and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

JESUS DELIBERATELY LEFT OFF SPEAKING THAT LAST PHRASE(day of vengeance)

YOU SEE THIS WAS REFERING TO HIS SECOND COMING AND AS WE READ DOWN TO Isa 61:11 we can see the reference to the Millennial Kingdom:

Isa 61:11 SAYS  For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

*****Verse 37 (Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers):

Verse 36 told us this man was not going to regard any god at all. Some say this statement means this man could be a Jew. Some say this man could be a Muslim, some say he is an Atheist but we know one thing for sure, we know who he will serve.

*****LET’S GO BACK TO THE TIME OF THE TEMPTATION OF JESUS:

Mat 4:9 SAYS  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mat 4:10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, [Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve].

Nowhere in the Bible is Satan called a god except to say he is the god of “this” world:

2Co 4:3 says  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Co 4:4  In whom [the god of this world] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

PRACTICALLY EVERY ONE ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH WORSHIPS SOME TYPE OF gOD. THIS MAN IS A ONE OF A KIND BUT THIS IS NOT TO SAY THERE ARE NOT ALREADY THOSE THAT WORSHIP SATAN HERE ON EARTH BECAUSE WE KNOW IT IS TRUE.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

1Co 1:20  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? [where is the disputer of this world]? [hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world]?
1Co 1:21  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom(not very smart) knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
1Co 1:22  For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
1Co 1:23  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

Php 3:17  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
Php 3:18  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the [enemies] of the cross of Christ:
Php 3:19  [Whose end is destruction], whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Eph 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, [the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience]:
Eph 2:3  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; [and were (by nature) the children of wrath, even as others].

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, [against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places].

The Apostle John wrote:

The words of Jesus.

Joh 12:31 (1) Now is the judgment of this world:(2) now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Joh 14:30  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: (3)for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Joh 14:31  [But] (4) that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Words of John.

Joh 12:40  He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

1Jn 5:19  And we know that we are of God, and [the whole world lieth in wickedness].

**********THIS MAN COMES FROM THESE THAT ARE IN THE WORLD.
**********THIS MAN WORSHIPS HIS FATHER SATAN AND IS CONTROLLED BY HIM.

*****nor the desire of women:

THIS PHRASE COULD MEAN SO MANY THINGS.

1.) Will the Anti-Christ be gay?
2.) Does this mean the the Jewish women that have a desire to be the one that is mother to the Messiah. (we know that Mary has fulfilled that already.)
3.) There is another option also:

Gen 3:5 says  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Does this mean that this man knows that there are women in this world that have a desire to rule the world both physically and spiritually. Satan convinced Eve that even she could be a god.

*****IT CAN SIMPLY MEAN THAT JUST VERSE 36 SAYS THIS MAN WILL RULE WITHOUT ANY INFLUENCE EVEN FROM A WIFE OR A MOTHER OR ANY WOMAN ON THE EARTH. IN FACT HE WILL NOT BE LED  BY ANY HUMAN BEING. HE IS HIS OWN COUNCIL.

2Ti 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2  For [men shall be lovers of their own selves], covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3  [Without natural affection], trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5  [Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof]: from such turn away.

THIS IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE ANTI-CHRIST. HE HAS NO AFFECTION FOR ANYONE BUT HIMSELF! THE WORLD THAT IS LEFT AFTER THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH WILL BE FILLED WITH A LOT OF THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE WE HAVE THESE WORDS OF THE APOSTLE PAUL:

Rom 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

THEY WILL GET ALONG REAL WELL WITH THIS MAN OF SIN!

*****Nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

MOST ALL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD BELIEVE IN SOME KIND OF HIGHER FORCE TO GO TO WHEN THEY ARE IN NEED. THIS ANTICHRIST WILL HAVE NO RELIGION AT ALL. “HE IS HIS OWN RELIGION”.

THE WORLD IS NOT BOTHERED BY IMMORALIY IN IT’S LEADERS. PRESIDENTS, GOVERNORS, PRIME MINISTERS AND EVERY OTHER LEADERSHIP POSITION ARE CAUGHT DAILY DOING THINGS THAT ARE IMMORAL. THEY DO NOT REGARD THEIR FAMILY RELATIONSHIP AS IMPORTANT. THEY DON’T EVEN OBEY THE LAWS THEY HELP TO WRITE. THEY DO EVERY THING THEY CAN TO AVOID PAYING THE TAXES THEY IMPOSE ON OTHERS. THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE AVERAGE MAN AND HIS BELIEFS. THEY VOTE THEIR OWN HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN FOR FREE AND A RETIREMENT, THEN HAGGLE FOR YEARS A MEANS TO DO THE SAME FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

OUR WORLD ACCEPTS THESE PEOPLE TO LEAD US NOW. WE CAN SEE THEM CONTINUOUSLY VOTED INTO OFFICE IN AMERICA, SO WE CAN SAY THAT AMERICA IS READY FOR THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE AND THE WORLD IS TOO. “IT’S IN THE NEWS EVERY DAY”.

Eze 28:5 SAYS  By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
Eze 28:6  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

*****Verse 38: (But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces)

THERE HAVE BEEN MANY MEN THAT HAVE TRIED TO DOMINATE THIS WORLD WITH MILITARY POWER. (Alexander the Great, The Roman Caesars, Hitler, Napoleon, many, many more. Up until the time of the Anti-Christ none have ever succeeded. This man of sin will use military might and the power of Satan to succeed where others have failed. We already know he will be his own counselor and he will be his own General.

BUT REMEMBER WHAT SATAN TOLD JESUS:

Luk 4:6 says  And the devil said unto him, [All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; (and to whomsoever I will I give it)].
Luk 4:7  [If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine].

REMEMBER:

Eph 2:2 SAYS  the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Eph 6:12 SAYS  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

THEY ARE ACTIVE IN OUR WORLD RIGHT NOW! REMEMBER WHAT GABRIEL TOLD DANIEL. THIS IS A POWERFUL ANGEL SAYING SOMEONE WITHSTOOD HIM. THIS COULD ONLY BE SATAN.

Dan 10:13 SAYS  [But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days]: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

*****SATAN HAS POWERS THAT HE WILL GIVE TO THIS ANTI-CHRIST.

*****(and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things). AND Verse 39.

IF THIS EVIL MAN BASICALLY WORSHIPS HIS MILITARY MIGHT THEN HE WILL USE ALL HIS GOLD, AND SILVER AND OTHER RICHES TO PURCHASE AND CONTROL ALL WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION TO BE EVEN STRONGER. WE KNOW HE WILL BE POWERFUL IF WE JUST LOOK AT SOME OF THE BATTLES HE WINS.

Dan 11:40  And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
Dan 11:41  He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
Dan 11:42  He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
Dan 11:43  But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
Dan 11:44  But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
Dan 11:45  And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

*****HIS CONFLICT:

HE WILL BE SO POWERFUL NONE WILL TEST THAT POWER!

(Verse 40-45)

Dan 11:21  And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: [but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries].

Remember how Absalom tried to take the kingdom away from David. It caused David to flee at first.

*****DURING THE FIRST HALF (3 and one years) THIS MAN WILL GAIN CONTROL OF THE WORLD THROUGH POLITICAL MANUEVERING BUT IN THE LAST HALF OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD THIS EVIL MAN WILL RULE BY WAR AND THE STRENGTH OF WAR MACHINES(the god of forces).

Rev 13:7 SAYS  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

THESE SAINTS MENTION HERE ARE BECAUSE OF THE PREACHING OF THE 144,000 AND ALSO THE TWO WITNESSES THAT ARE KILLED AT THE END OF THE FIRST THREE AND ONE HALF YEARS. “THE CHURCH IS ALREADY WITH THE LORD”.

Dan 7:21 SAYS  I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
Dan 7:22  Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

THE SECOND COMING IS AT THE END OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD.

Notice Jordan is spared but not Egypt, Libya nor Ethiopia. During this time, news that he does not like will cause him to go forth with great fury.

ISRAEL WILL REBEL AND TURN TO GOD FOR HELP:

Deu 30:1  And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
Deu 30:2  And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
Deu 30:3  That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and [will return] and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

Between the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean lies Jerusalem and Mount Zion. This is his headquarters.

2Th 2:4 says  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; [so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God].

Mat 24:15 says  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

Rev 14:12 SAYS  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, [Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth]: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Dan 11:45 says  And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas [in the glorious holy mountain]; [yet he shall come to his end], and none shall help him.

WHAT BOOK?

Psa 69:28 SAYS  Let them be blotted out of [the book of the living], [and not be written with the righteous].

Rev 21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but [they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life].

Jer 30:7 SAYS  Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even [the time of Jacob’s trouble]; but [he shall be saved out of it].
Jer 30:8  For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
Jer 30:9  But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Dan 9:27 SAYS  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Isa 26:20 SAYS  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Rev 12:16 SAYS  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Zep 1:14 SAYS  The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
Zep 1:15  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Zep 1:16  A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Psa 102:13 says  Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, [the “set” time, is come].
Psa 102:14  [For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof].

(Is this The wailing wall?)

Psa 102:15  So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and [all the kings of the earth thy glory].
Psa 102:16  When the LORD shall build up Zion, [he shall appear in his glory].
Psa 102:17  He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
Psa 102:18  This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Verse:2,3:

There are two resurrections mentioned here. (this not the Rapture which has already occurred before this period)

1.)There will be a resurrection of those that became saints during the tribulation period.

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection
Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

2.) Then at the end of the Millennial kingdom comes the white throne judgement.

Rev 20:7  And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Rev 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

THESE ARE THE UNBELIEVERS FROM ALL GENERATIONS SINCE ADAM AND EVE.

AGAIN OUR TEXT:

Dan 12:10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Dan 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Dan 12:12  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
Dan 12:13  But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

I BELIEVE THIS REFERS TO THE CHURCH AGE THAT BEGAN WITH CHRIST AND WILL END WITH THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH. “THE PERIOD WE CALL GRACE”.

Rom 4:16  [Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace]; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

(but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.)

2Ti 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Jer 8:8 SAYS  How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
Jer 8:9  The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and [what wisdom is in them]?

WHAT IS TRUE WISDOM?

Rom 8:1  [There is therefore now (no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death].

Verses 12,13:

Dan 11:31  And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Mat 10:22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Dan 12:9  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Isa 57:2  He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Rev 6:11  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

*****THESE NUMBERS SHOW A DIFFERENCE OF 45 DAYS THAT SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN?

Dan 8:13  Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dan 8:14  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

DANIEL ALSO SAYS IT WILL TAKE 2300 DAYS TO CLEANSE THE SANCTUARY?

EZEKIEL SPEAKS OF THIS CLEANSING:

Eze 43:18  And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
Eze 43:19  And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
Eze 43:20  And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

WE KNOW OF A TIME FOR JUDGING: (is this those 45 days)

Mat 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Mat 19:29  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Mat 19:30  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION:

Mat 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 25:32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

DANIEL WAS ABOUT NINETY YEARS OLD AND GOD TOLD HIM HE COULD REST BUT THE REST THAT IS COMING FOR THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL HAS NOT YET COME!

Heb 4:9 SAYS  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

GOD WILL THEN REBUILD THIS EARTH AS IN THE DAYS OF ADAM AND EVE IN PREPARATION FOR HIS MILLENNIAL REIGN:
