The King Of The Demon World

The King of The Demon World

Text:

Isa 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isa 14:15  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Isa 14:16  They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Isa 14:17  That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Intro:

The Demon World is very real just as is the Angelic World. Most people get their information from the movies and it is not Biblical.

Demon CANNOT possess a Christian! Demon CAN oppress a Christian!

A lot has been said about demon by those that do not know and it has people to ignore the truth.

There is a literal creation of God that is now called Satan, The Devil. He is the king of the demon world.

God created all creatures in Heaven and in Earth and that will include Satan. There is only one archangel mentioned in the Bible by that title and his name is Michael. It is believed by most Bible scholars that there are three.

1.) Michael – The Warrior Angel
2.) Gabriel – The Messenger Angel
3.) Lucifer – The Musical Angel

Jealousy of God caused Lucifer to rebel and his fall is recorded in the Bible by the words of Jesus:

Luk 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Satan shows up in all kinds of “forms” even as an angel of light:

2Co 11:13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14  And no marvel; [for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light].
2Co 11:15  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Satan will always appear in an attractive form. Satan will always try to bring you down to his level of evil.

All Glory Belongs To God!

You are robbing God if you try to have glory in yourself! Satan is powerful and he has control of the demon world. Satan wants to destroy the children of God and everything that gives God the credit. Satan is full of surprises and he knows our likes and our dislikes. Satan maybe the second most powerful creature in the universe But He Only Has The Power God Allows Him To Have!

I.) The Reality:

Some people deny the existance of the Devil. There is an actual personage called the Devil. All Christians need to stay charged up physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally because the devil attacks at your weakest point, your weakest area. The devil knows where you came from when had you under his influence. We all need to stay in church and stay uplifted in the Word of God. The devil “hates” you and would kill you if he could.

Look at Job from the Book of Job:

Job 1:9  Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10  [Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side]? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

1.) In the Old Testament:

   a.) Satan seduced Eve:

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

   b.) Satan attacked Job:

Job 1:12  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

   c.) Satan tempted King David:

2Sa 11:1  And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
2Sa 11:2  And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
2Sa 11:3  And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

   d.) Satan had tempted Isaiah:

Isa 6:5  Then said I, Woe is me! [for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips]: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

2.) In The New Testament:

   a.) Satan tempted Jesus:

Mat 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Mat 4:2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

   b.) Satan tempted Judas:

Luk 22:3  Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Luk 22:4  And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

c.) Satan tempted Ananias and Sapphira:

Act 5:1  But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
Act 5:2  And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Act 5:3  But Peter said, Ananias, [why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost], and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Act 5:4  Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? [thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God].
Act 5:5  And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Act 5:6  And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
Act 5:7  And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
Act 5:8  And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
Act 5:9  Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
Act 5:10  Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
Act 5:11  And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Notice there is no mistake, the Holy Ghost is God!

d.) Satan tempted the Apostle Paul:

1Th 2:18  Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

3.) What Are Satan’s Characteristics?

   a.) He is a “tempter”:

Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

1Th 3:5  For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

   b.) He is a “liar”:

The Words of Jesus.

Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

   c.) He is a “murderer”:

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

   d.) He is a “thief”:

The Words of Jesus.

Joh 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

   e.) He is a “deceiver”:

Gen 3:13  And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, [The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat].

   f.) He “blinds” people:

2Co 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

   g.) He is an “accuser”:

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

   h.) He is an “attacker”:

Rev 12:13  And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

   i.) He “binds” people:

2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

   j.) He is the “Destroyer’:

Exo 12:23  For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and [will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you].

Satan steals your joy and your strength, which has an affect on your testimony. Satan blinds people about abortions, homosexuality and other evil and he(Satan) is constantly accusing us before God. he attacks anything Holy, Christian, and Godly. We can see this every day of our lives. Satan brings and binds people in his bondage and he will destroy anyone he can.

II.) Satan’s Origin:

Eze 28:12  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, [full of wisdom], and perfect in beauty.
Eze 28:13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: [the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created].
Eze 28:14  [Thou art the anointed cherub] that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15  [Thou wast (perfect) in thy ways from the day that thou wast created], till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16  [By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence], and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:17  [Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty], [thou hast corrupted thy wisdom] [by reason of thy brightness]: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Gen 3:24  So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

c.) Satan was anointed of God: (Verse 14)

Anointed – Set Apart

   d.) Satan has wisdom: (Verse 12, 17)

Corrupt – To  render defective; to destroy or deprave; to change from good to bad

e.) Satan was beautiful before he sinned: (Verse 17)

f.) Satan was musical before he sinned: (Verse 13)

g.) Satan was perfect before he sinned: (Verse 15)

   h.) Satan rebelled: (Verse 16, 18)

g.) Satan used “I” an awful lot: I will ascend, I will exalt, I will sit, I will be like the Most High.

III.) What Are Satan’s Names And Titles:

1.) Lucifer:

Isa 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

The Word’s of Jesus.

b.) The prince of the power of the air:

Eph 2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the [prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience]:

   c.) Our “adversary” in everything:

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

   d.) The “deceiver”:

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, [which deceiveth the whole world]: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

IV.) WHAT IS SATAN’S DESTINY?

a.) Satan will fight harder and harder as his end draws near:

Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

b.) At the end of the Tribulation period Satan will be bound:

Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

c.) In the end Satan “WILL” be “CAST” in to the Burning Lake of Fire:

Rev 20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

He will not be a ruler in the Burning Lake of Fire, he will just be one of the boys in torment just like the others and maybe more so.

You know Heaven will be Heaven even without the streets of gold just knowing that the devil, Satan, will not be there.

Let’s Pray!
